SAMPLE LOWER BACK The lower back represents your relationship with money, wealth, and support. Pain in the lower back occurs when there is a deep subconscious fear that there is "not enough." In many cases the fear revolves around money and income. This is a difficult area. A person may appear to have plenty of money, may even be a millionaire, but the deep-seated fear that there is not enough is still dominating their life. Lower back problems may mean a lack of trust that there will always be enough in life. Fear and trust cannot exist in the same space. The second area for the lower back is support, which also relates to "not enough." Support takes the limited attention on money and finances into the rest of your life - support in relationships, family, home or work. Within the context of money and support is lack of security which can be added to lower back issues. When you draw the Lower Back Card or Slip you are being asked to look your finances and your support in general and the areas where you feel there are "not enough" in particular. Lower back pain can mean that even if by the measure of others you have enough money or wealth, you still feel that you do not have enough, that perhaps there will never be enough. The other major lower back issue is support. Support - emotional or financial - may be lacking or be perceived to be lacking in work, play, family, home, areas where you are out of balance in your life. To work with lower back issues ask your Higher Self what you need to know about how you are feeling about your income, your wealth, your security, your support. Wealth is not a measure of how much money you have but how secure you feel in the area of wealth. Do you feel that you have enough? Do you feel secure with your income and the way you are able to support yourself? Do you feel supported in most areas of your life? Do you feel secure? Write your questions with your dominant hand. Write your answers with your non-dominant hand. When you have an answer, ask your Higher Self what you need to do to shift your relationship with your attitude toward having enough, feeling supported and feeling secure. Do not judge the answers. Do not get in your own way with doubts about your ability to do whatever comes to your mind. Simply write down what comes to you. The last question in each session should be, "Is there anything else I need to know?"
