College educated U.S. Marshal Tyrone Narrowhawk (Hawk) and his sharp shooter deputy partner, 6'2" Merle Johnson, are at it again. This time they're joined by long-past-retirement Deputy Marshal Pike Winslow, a man who taught Hawk a few things. While busting a cattle rustling operation Hawk is aided by a restless Indian spirit and puts it to rest. In their pursuit of a dangerous cold blooded killer Merle brings a bit of the old west in the form of a gun battle to crowded Kansas City. He's consoled at Miss Helen’s School of Massage Therapy, a fine service to the community. Pike leads a chase through sophisticated Chicago dressed in his new Sunday-go-to-meetin' suit atop a 'borrowed' carriage horse. Their quarry leads them down a rail line and into dangerous Kiowa Indian territory where sharp shooter Merle makes some incredible shots with his hex barreled .50 caliber Sharps shoulder cannon. They discover their killer trading rifles and ammunition for a stolen gold shipment. Pike proves to be inovative time and again, stuffing socks with gun powder to rile the Kiowa. The adventure continues.
