Synopsis

Isabella Barrone packed her little wagon and headed over the pass to Devil Hills and the teaching position she had with the elementary school. When the car decided to sputter and stop near the top, she really wanted to kick some tires. The skies were thick with dark clouds that blocked reception to her phone. Giving in with a long sigh, she took her tote of necessities and tried to walk carefully up the gravel and thick, muddy, rutted driveway to the A-frame house. It looked in good repair so she only hoped it was serviceable until she could get a tow truck to come for her. When the two men returned from their patrol of the fences for the ranch, a task done each year before winter struck, the last thing they expected to find with a red cape and dark haired beauty asleep in the bed.
