Morfeo Editorial abre su ciclo de memorias con DIETARIO EN RED 2004-2006, un diario que escribió en Internet durante ese período el escritor Antonio Gálvez Alcaide. En estas páginas pronto podemos apreciar una extraña simbiosis entre literatura y vida, y un detallismo insospechado. La cotidianidad del barrio del escritor, que se halla entre los municipios barceloneses de Cornellá de Llobregat y San Juan Despí, se ensambla con sus experiencias, generalmente truculentas, como profesor de instituto. Queda patente su admiración por el escritor Josep Pla, a quien llega a tratar de confidente. De manera singular, analiza la obra de muchos escritores reconocidos, y recuerda vivencias personales con Camilo José Cela y Francisco Umbral, “paje de la literatura española”. Se revisa al sector editorial español, que parece un mundo abotargado, sin alas, dominado por lo insustancial, execrable; así como su paso por tres agencias literarias: Carmen Balcells, MB y Antonia Kerrigan. Se refleja su relación con el periodismo, como el proceso que siguió su primer artículo publicado en prensa, que tuvo un tratamiento deleznable, incluso perverso. No muy desligado del mundo periodístico, se publican las reacciones habidas tras desenmascarar el seudónimo de Paz Vega López, el experimento narrativo y cibernético que le valió el entusiasmo de escritores como Arcadi Espada o Iván Tubau, y que Morfeo ha editado bajo el título de Caliente.
La literatura y la vida, dos realidades separadas que en Antonio Gálvez Alcaide parecen fusionarse con una calidad y una honestidad tan infrecuentes que producen grima.
DIETARIO EN RED 2004-2006. VOLUMEN 2 es la segunda parte de un total de cinco entregas de extensión semejante. Su espacio temporal se corresponde con las fechas del 28 de diciembre de 2004 al 24 de mayo de 2005.
