Synopsis

Las Sagradas Escrituras nos hablan de un líder mundial que surgiría al Final de los Tiempos; es decir, en la última Era en que los humanos se gobernarían a sí mismos apartados del Creador de los cielos y la tierra.

El profeta Daniel nos especifica que será un astuto negociador y paladín del discurso político que augura paz y prosperidad, aunque en el fondo un sofisticado engañador enviado no por otro que Apollyon, el Satanás descrito en el Apocalipsis de San Juan y que el hebreo Daniel nos lo presenta como un vil lisonjero:

"Y sucederá en su lugar un vil...vendrá empero con paz, y tomará el reino con halagos...Y con lisonjas hará pecar a los violadores del pacto..."
