Rati Banerjee was born in Kolkata, moved to North London when she was seven, and then spent her early teens living with family in Mumbai, before returning to London to work as a TV script editor. She is a successful author of romantic sagas under another pen-name, and enjoys using her experience of two cultures to inspire and inform her work.
