Als ein toter Künstler vor dem Eingang der Alten Sternwarte in Mannheim gefunden wird, erschlagen von einem Ziegelstein, sieht es zunächst nach einem Unfall aus. Doch wie konnte sich der Ziegel lösen und das Baugerüst, das eigens zum Schutz vor herunterfallenden Brocken aufgestellt wurde, überwinden? Der Autor
Daniel Morawek ist 1981 in Mannheim geboren. Er arbeitet als freischaffender Drehbuchautor, Filmemacher und Schriftsteller und veröffentlichte bereits zwei Thriller um den Mannheimer Privatdetektiv Leonard Kimski. Zuletzt ist der Spielfilm »Verbrecher!« auf DVD erschienen. Mit »Kommissar Müller greift nach den Sternen« beginnt er eine neue Krimi-Reihe.
Auszeichnungen: 2004 David-Award als bester Newcomer für den Film »Caffe della Vita«. 2008 Gewinner des Autorenwettbewerbs des Kehl Verlags. 2010 zweiter Sieger beim Mannheimer Heinrich-Vetter-Literaturpreis.
