In the Holy City of Kost at the south-east corner of the Korovian Sea is the Academy of Arcane where many young pupils in the disciplines of magic choose to train. Lilith Bloodstone is a young necromancer who seeks to use necromantic magic to help people, but necromancy has a foul reputation and while her motives are pure she faces many challenges and adventures.
Join Lilith in Book II of this series as she explores beyond the Holy City of Kost and journeys out of the city to fight evil spirits both non-corporeal and corporeal. Such dangers cannot be defeated alone but she gains new allies among the Taltos, the Ironskin minotaurs and even allies she never thought would stoop to helping a mere girl like herself. ie. The tiger from the cover is the spirit guardian "Vajik" from "One to be Reckoned With".
