PARALELISMOS es la cuarta parte de la novela de Antonio Gálvez Alcaide titulada EL SOLITARIO.
En PARALELISMOS, la clarividencia de Salvador es notable, incluso habla sobre Jesucristo con la seguridad de alguien que lo hubiera conocido. Se produce una invectiva a la sociedad en plena Rambla de Barcelona, cerca del monumento a Colón. Se entrevista con una mujer que le ofrece pruebas de ser un ángel, su ángel de la guarda. Su capacidad portentosa, paralela a la que se le achaca a Jesucristo, es evidente. Incluso su sola presencia espanta a tremendos camorristas, ¿o eran más bien demonios?
PARALELISMOS es la consolidación de la entrañable pareja formada por Salvador y Magdalena.
Sinopsis de EL SOLITARIO:
En el número 57 de la calle Escudellers de Barcelona vive Salvador, un hombre enfermo y huidizo que arrastra una tragedia personal. De forma inexplicable, su vida empieza a tener paralelismos con la vida de Jesucristo. Rompiendo su terrible soledad aparece Magdalena, una mujer que vive en el famoso barrio chino barcelonés y trabaja como dependienta en el mercado de la Boquería. Entre ellos se produce un amor tan profundo que la miseria de sus vidas se transforma en algo parecido a una constante cucharada de miel.
El entorno de Salvador es muy limitado, el mismo que les corresponde a las personas solitarias. Su única relación, más allá de las puertas de su casa y de la irrupción de Magdalena, es la que mantiene con los vecinos de su rellano, que no pueden ocultar el portento que viven en cierta ocasión.
Más allá del amor sin cortapisas, del choque entre el bien y el mal, de la denominada violencia de género, de la vida nocturna en la parte vieja de Barcelona, la gran quimera cristiana se convierte en algo tangible, demasiado hermosa para que sea perdurable. Y ante todo, Salvador y Magdalena; Magdalena y Salvador, una pareja inolvidable.
