Being the boss of the Commission comes with a price. There’s always someone shooting for the crowning spot. Nzinga Burke finds this out the hard way when she’s nearly killed in a car explosion and Anthony Harrison is shot up in his car outside his home. But she doesn’t become discouraged by her near-death experience and the attempt on her right-hand man’s life. She continues to move forward with plans to turn the Commission legit. Even the sudden appearance of her illegitimate brother, Dimitri D’Annunzio, won’t stray her from her goal.
