ROSIE'S GRINGO PALACE

In a Bronx bar, long-legged beauty, Maureen, has just bashed the side of her boyfriend's head with a heavy margarita glass and he's about to get creative by using his switchblade on her. A fight erupts and someone gets stabbed. Con-man, Lui Chu, downs his drink and cuts short his visit to the old neighborhood. He's heading back to California in his '64 red Impala before the police arrive. But, at the last minute, three unexpected passengers join him for the cross-country journey: twenty-one year old twins, Alberto and Ramon - and Maureen, the woman who caused it all. How could Lui know they each had an agenda: that Maureen intends to hunt down and kill her abusive mother in Cleveland; that Alberto may have just killed a man; that Ramon, an expert auto mechanic, is out to make a fast buck, legitimately or illegitimately? They figure California is as good a place as any. And Lui knows how to play them all. There's only one place they can go - the back room of ROSIE'S GRINGO PALACE.
