"I’M A SAN FRANCISCO NATIVE. ONE DAY WHEN I WAS 5 YEARS OLD, MY PARENTS GAVE ME SOME BUTCHER PAPER TO SCRIBBLE ON. A LITTLE BIT LATER, I BROUGHT THE PAPER TO MY MOM AND DAD TO SHOW THEM A PROFILE OF A MAN’S FACE. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I GOT BIG TIME PRAISE FROM THEM. I NEVER FORGOT THAT DAY. FROM THAT TIME, I’VE BEEN “TOONING” EVER SINCE. I’VE DONE TOONS THAT THE SUBJECTS WERE FROM MUSICIANS, DOCTORS, SENIOR CITIZENS ETC. POLITICAL CARTOONS ARE TOO HEAVY FOR ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER, AND ARE RARELY FUNNY. I”M NOT A POLITICAL MESSENGER, I’M A CARTOONIST THAT WANTS TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH OR AT LEAST SMILE. BY THE WAY, I CAN UNLOCK THE CAP’S, BUT DON’T WANT TO. I’ve been criticized for that. A San Francisco Journalist said I was Shouting at him. Oops, I unlocked the Cap’s! SOME OF MY FAVORITE CARTOONS ARE; BIZARRO, THE FUSCO BROTHERS .... THINK YOU MAY KNOW WHERE I’M COMING FROM IF YOU KNOW THESE SINGLE PANEL TOONISTS. IN SOME CASES, I MAY USE A DIFFERENT STYLE IF IT FITS THE STORY. ANY WAY, WELCOME TO CELLI-TOONS!!!"
