Embarrassed, Sadie released herself from his embrace and retreated to the fireplace. Jack squatted on his haunches next to her. She glanced up to see him silhouetted against the flames. Below his furrowed brow, those bright emerald pools transfixed her, until she felt as though she were drowning in them. Thoughts she’d had of him in the loft came flooding back, and there was nothing for her to do but to draw him forward into a deep kiss.
Jack was stunned. For an agonizing moment Sadie wondered if she had just made an enormous mistake. Then he kissed her back, hard, as if the popping sparks had ignited something within him, as well. They eased onto the wooly rug in front of the fireplace.
Between desperate kisses she unbuttoned his shirt, running her fingers over his bare chest, then lower, brushing the muscles of his stomach and working his buckle loose. The firelight which flickered and danced over his skin made him look like some bronze sculpture from antiquity.
Bursting with anticipation, Sadie yanked his worn jeans down, offering an appreciative gasp at the sight of his liberated manhood standing fully erect. She had only seen a man naked once before, and he had been nothing compared to the marvel that lay in front of her now.
An animalistic hunger overtook her; without hesitation she ran her tongue along the length of his cock, pausing only to make a very slow, deliberate circle around the edge of the smooth head. Jack squirmed beneath her.
