James M. Lowrance, July 2012
Subtitle: "Amazing Things about God’s Son Revealed in the Holy Scriptures"
Most people agree that Jesus Christ was/is the most influential, history-impacting person who has ever lived. The very dating system of the world attests to this fact and even the congress of the United States uses “the year of our Lord” as the phrase added to the date in which bills are passed by them.
According to the Holy Bible, Jesus is much more than a man -- he is in-fact the personification of God and he existed with the Heavenly Father before becoming a man, born of woman by conception of the Holy Spirit. The scriptures also state that the “Godhead” is eternal and consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This further reveals the fact that Jesus pre-existed his birth as a human being on earth. He was in-fact “sent” by the Father according to the Holy Bible.
It is my sincere hope that the pages of t his book, help to convey the reasons we have such faith in this wonderful man who gave his life for us and who displayed God’s very own image to us. I’m a limited man but if I can convey the reasons for the hope that is within me and for that which also resides within fellow Christians around the world through the chapters of this book, I will have succeeded. To God be the glory.
“For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.” (Romans 8:29 NIV)
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” (I Peter 3:15 KJV)
