Synopsis

Take a stroll down Edmiston Drive with the people who know it best - the fans! The Bear is the unofficial online Rangers fanzine, packed with features to get your blue blood stirring.

Edited by David Edgar and Scot Van den Akker, and featuring articles from Bears all over the world, it takes a sideways look at everything happening at Ibrox. With an unashamed view from behind blue-tinted glasses, The Bear will offer in-depth analysis of the latest news, plenty of terrace humour and more than the occasional boot at our rivals. You'll also find some wonderful historical pieces written by the foremost authorities on the club.

There's something for every Gers fan in the Bear - written for, and by, the people.

In this edition…

So. The jurys gone out, come back, and pronounced doom for Rangers. Or so they no doubt thought.

As a result, Scot, David and ten or eleven (thousand) other Bears popped down to Hampden, to give the SFA a gentle reminder that Rangers have a voice. Quite a loud one actually, so perhaps its time to tune back into reality and listen, eh boys?

We give a few minutes thought to what Duff & Phelps are up to (clearly longer than they have), consider just what the proverbial has happened to ethics in Scottish football, offer some desperately needed reform solutions, and consider why sponsors of the SFA may wish to disassociate themselves sharpish. Cus they aint gonna like whats coming.

We also assess why Alexander Graham Bell has a lot to answer for. If youve ever listened to (or, heaven forfend, participated in) a Scottish football phone-in, youll know this already. We send our international investigative team to Spain to assess Barcelonas current dip in form and offer Pep Guardiola some advice. Sort of. And of course we have a nostalgic sift through the Ibrox archives, taking a refreshing break from the current woe with a look at some of Rangers all-time greats.

Theres a lot more in here too of course, and itd be a dreadful shame for you to miss out.
