When their father fails to show up after a trip to Washington DC, two brothers drive to the city to investigate. What they find propels them to get on the first flight to Florida. Arriving, they get caught up in Hurricane Adam as it hits the coastline. Now they have to find their father AND battle nature's fury.
Follow the brothers as they make their way through the state in an effort to uncover the mystery of why their father has suddenly disappeared. Read as they travel through the Everglades, survive a hurricane, almost get blown up, have their plane sabotaged, flee on bicycles through the wetlands, and more!
This rip roaring young adult novel, in the vein of the Hardy Boys novels, is roughly 50,000 words and is filled with mystery, adventure, and plenty of action.
