Synopsis

The Magic Formula follows a close group of boys from childhood who decide to meet every ten years to renew their friendship. Gradually their numbers are reduced by death, and suddenly, as adults, they see that the realities of their lives are far bleaker than they are comfortable admitting to one another. As they share their individual stories, they come to realize that they all are victims, struggling and hurting. Each man is unable to deal with his problems, accepting the pain as normal.
